Oh hello. It feels like it’s been a minute, doesn’t it?
This time of year is when it feels like Nature is outpacing me. The rate at which hazelnuts dry, squash ripen, fruit sweetens and falls - I can barely keep up. It’s constant tomato sauce cooking to be canned, fruit getting chopped to be frozen. In fact this year, I’m freezing most things out of pure laziness. I’m so privileged we have a (few) freezer(s). Did you know, you can freeze
